Weekday support is tailored to each individual, providing personalised support with daily routines, community outings, skill-building, and allied health appointments, helping children and young people develop independence and confidence.
Weekend 1 to 1 support offers flexible care while encouraging social connection and community participation. Individual’s can explore new activities, build skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences outside the weekday routine.
During school holidays, our 1 to 1 support focuses on safe, engaging community activities. From local outings to hands-on experiences, individual’s stay active, connected, and confident while enjoying personalised support.

At Extra Care, we provide nurse-led, safe and consistent support that fosters individual’s to grow, learn and thrive. Through personalised one to one support, we help each child’s abilities build confidence, life skills and independence while working towards their individual goals.
Our approach is relationship-focused and collaborative, working closely with families, schools and allied health professionals to ensure every support session is safe, meaningful and tailored to the individual’s needs!

Elisse, Director of Extra Care, brings professional nursing experience and a deep commitment to relationship-based care. She has worked closely with children with disabilities in educational settings, gaining insight into individual needs, strengths and potential.
Elisse’s passion for collaborating with allied health teams stems from her experience within hospital settings, where she witnessed how coordinated, multidisciplinary care leads to meaningful outcomes.
She established Extra Care to provide personalised, consistent support that focuses on each child’s abilities, ensuring every support session is safe, engaging and tailored to promote independence and confidence!
At Extra Care we offer a range of tailored supports, including weekday and weekends Community access one-to-one support, community access and school holiday support!
